Mubo's Droid Depot

At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Guests have the opportunity to build their very own Astromech droid. On this project, I developed the initial design for how Guests interact with the droids and how the droids would interact with the world around them. At Galaxy’s Edge, all of the characters are real, and your droid is no different!

I designed and have a patent pending on a method for toys to be aware of the world around them and to react based on their in-story programming.  

The custom droids were named Creative Toy of the Year at The 2020 Toy Awards. You can read more about this accomplishment here:
